Sounds like you are calling everyone who plays negative VP a moron.  When you don't have anything except negative VP to play, will you quit the game?  Who will buy your books and software then?

The same people who don't buy them now. I don't know, is this a trick question?
In NY, just about my favorite street food was a gyro. Back there, its a beef and lamb combo. In Vegas, almost everyplace sells chicken gyros or beef gyros but the NY style gyro is rare. Rather than eat a pale imitation of what I like, I eat very few gyros.
When I lived in NY, there was a casino three miles from my office. Stepped into it once for a party. Never played a dime because of the horrible VLT machines.
I wasn't so addicted that I had to make weekly trips to play bad games. I'd fly to Vegas three or four times a year instead.

AC is between VLT and LV. My current objective is positive or neutral trips. FP and Flee. Failing that, recycle FP until exhausted and incur a minor trip cost. People love this routine. I'll leave the jackpot chasing to the high rollers subsidizing the day trippers. Taking foot off gas and staying in my slow lane.

Bill, I applaud your discipline. Obviously you are a serious gambler.  Most of us are not.  We play the game for entertainment.  I can be entertained by playing a 96.77% quarter game just as much as flying to Vegas to play full pay deuces.

I don't make many trips to Vegas.  I don't need to.  I play every week without the expense and hassles.   I enjoy my day at the casino, the games are fun and the comps are good.  All we have to do is play their games.  We don't have too play them big, just big enough to make them happy.  The casino is happy and so are we.

I do not make personal judgements about people that I don't know just because I don't agree with their choice of entertainment.  As long as it's legal and they use their own money, who cares?   If you think I am a moron for doing what I enjoy, so be it.  I suspect calling people you don't agree with names is something you learned in NY.  Our current President seems to be a master at it.   I know you didn't learn it in the military or you would have had your ass kicked once a week.

For some reason unknown to me, you think degrading others on this forum makes to seem more intelligent.  It doesn't.  I makes you seem petty and defensive.   Truly intelligent people try to understand other people's viewpoint on things and use logic to make their point, not insults.  Think about this before you respond.   This could be a learning moment for you.
